Our saunas and cabins
Every True North sauna and cabin is designed with purpose, combining thoughtful design, premium materials and skilled craftsmanship to create functional spaces built to last.
From structural construction and insulation to ventilation, glazing and carefully selected finishes, every detail is considered to maximise comfort, performance and longevity.
Handcrafted in our UK workshop, our saunas and cabins are built using high-quality materials and proven construction methods, with the flexibility to tailor each design to your space and needs.
Yes, all True North saunas and cabins come with a 2-year warranty, covering manufacturing defects, faulty workmanship and material failures under normal use. Our electric and wood-fired sauna heaters also come with a separate 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Our warranty covers structural components, benches, internal cladding, doors, glazing and factory-installed fittings. It excludes normal wear and tear, natural timber changes, accidental damage and issues caused by improper use, installation or maintenance.
If you experience any issues, simply contact care@wearetruenorth.co with your proof of purchase and photos of the problem, and we’ll help resolve it.

We offer two levels of customisation across our saunas and cabins, allowing you to create something that suits your space, style and needs.
Finishes & features: Personalise your sauna or cabin with a choice of exterior cladding, colours, flooring, roofing, lighting, Bluetooth speakers and other optional upgrades.
Size & layout: We can also adapt the dimensions and internal layout of our existing designs, whether that’s extending the space, making it more compact or reconfiguring the interior to suit your requirements.
Our aim is to give you the flexibility to make your sauna or cabin your own, without compromising on design, comfort or performance.
Our saunas
We offer a range of outdoor saunas designed to accommodate 2 to 8 people, from compact saunas for couples and smaller gardens to larger designs for families, entertaining and commercial use.
Our collection includes smaller 2-3 person saunas, mid-sized 4-5 person options and spacious 6-8 person designs.
We can also customise the dimensions and layout of our saunas to suit your available space and requirements.

Our saunas are designed to operate at temperatures typically between 80°C and 100°C, providing an authentic Finnish sauna experience. The temperature can be adjusted to suit your preference, whether you enjoy a gentler, more relaxing heat or a hotter, more intense session.
Maximum temperatures depend on the heater, sauna size and external conditions. Our insulated construction, carefully considered ventilation and bench positioning help create a consistent, comfortable heat throughout the sauna.
Barrel saunas are typically smaller, simpler structures, often built using interlocking timber boards with curved walls and limited insulation.
At True North, our saunas use a fully insulated timber frame construction, with carefully designed ventilation, bench heights and heater positioning to create a more consistent and comfortable heat throughout the sauna.
Our designs also offer greater flexibility in layout, glazing, finishes and customisation, alongside durable materials selected for long-term performance in the British climate.
Both offer a sauna experience, but our approach prioritises thermal performance, comfort, durability and thoughtful design, rather than simply providing a heated space.
Our saunas and cabins are designed to be durable and relatively low-maintenance, with a few simple steps to keep them looking and performing their best.
Internally, we recommend regularly wiping down benches and surfaces, keeping floors clean and allowing the sauna to ventilate and dry thoroughly after each use.
Externally, timber cladding should be inspected and maintained periodically, with protective finishes reapplied as recommended to preserve its appearance and protect it from the elements.
We provide care and maintenance guidance with every sauna and cabin to help you look after your investment for years to come.
Delivery & installation
Yes, we deliver and install our saunas and cabins throughout the UK. Every delivery is carefully planned by our team, taking into account site access, transport requirements and the most suitable installation method.
Whether your sauna or cabin can be delivered fully assembled or needs to be constructed on-site, we’ll work with you to find the best solution. Delivery and installation costs vary depending on your location, access and project requirements, and will be confirmed as part of your quotation.

Before installation, you’ll need a level, stable base for your sauna or cabin, such as a concrete pad, concrete piers or suitable ground screws, along with an appropriate electrical supply if required.
We’ll also need to assess access to your property to determine the best delivery and installation method, whether that’s positioning a fully assembled structure or completing the build on-site.
Our team will guide you through the preparation process, including foundations, electrics, site access and any other requirements, to ensure everything is ready ahead of installation.
Most installs are completed the same day. We handle delivery, assembly, testing and handover.
